Basil, Ginger, Lime Iced Tea Recipe

basil iced tea

I gots me a biiiiig pot ‘o basil outside that was just hankerin’ for some end of summer fun. Usually he pretty much only partakes in pesto fiestas so this was a new one for him.

And for me.

Who knew basil iced tea was even a thing? Well I’m here to tell you …

It’s a thing.

Each day I make up 2 huge pitchers of purified water. Great thing to do but also … bo-ring!

This one’s got ginger basil water inside with a few squeezes of lime, inspired by my cooking hero Barbara. 💚

When I see it sitting there, I don’t feel deprived cuz I’m not havin’ some sugary drink, I feel happy cuz it’s pretty.

It *is* kinda beautiful, right?

What do you do for yourself each day that can be given a lil extra shot of brightness or beauty or *fun*?

. . . . . . . . .
