Ginger Sunrise Bombs

These are fun to watch and taste like a healthier ginger ale. Both very good things!

Amounts are approximate. Depending on your taste buds, you may like more or less sweetness and more or less of a ginger kick. I tend to go for more kick and less sweet … But you do you, k? 😊

Have fun, play around with it and remember what you did for the future!

Ginger Sunrise Bombs

  • fresh ginger root, 2 – 4″ hunk, to taste
  • 2 tbp raw honey, to taste
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 32 oz sparkling water makes 4 servings (San Pellegrino works great!)

Peel then chop fresh ginger root into big hunks. Puree ginger, honey and water in single serve blender or bullet. Pour through sieve into measuring cup, pressing pulp against screen to squeeze remaining juice though. Pour into ice cube trays (the squeezy push-out kind are perfect!) and freeze overnight.

Drop one cube into a glass of sparkling water and enjoy!
